Moving from Düsseldorf to Cologne, the M2M Alliance joins forces with StartupCon, Europe’s largest one-day conference for start-ups and innovation. The programme of the M2M Summit's 11thedition features, among others, a keynote about "Predictive Maintenance" highlighting how IoT and M2M solutions can transform the elevator service industry at large. The list of topics include “Seamless Security Solutions for the IoT” and “How Industry 4.0 drives the requirement for a Hybrid Cloud and Edge Architecture”. The keynotes and discussions address some of the most pressing issues and challenges many businesses are currently facing.
The Academic Day, will also be part of the M2M Summit. In addition, research projects on the latest M2M/IoT technologies and innovations will be presented and discussed. Young companies will be given the opportunity again to present their ideas and solutions for M2M/IoT technology in the form of a pitch. The winner will get a wildcard to present their pitch live on stage in the StartupCon arena. The M2M Alliance and StartupCon expect to attract more than 5,000 visitors.
