You don’t necessarily think about energy efficiency while taking a bite of your bread roll at breakfast time. But baked goods, or rather the baking process itself shouldn’t be underestimated – only a third of the heat generated by conventional ovens is used for baking. The remainder just heats the bakery.

The selected official partner country at Anuga 2019 is Paraguay. This was confirmed by Koelnmesse and Rediex, which as the investment and export promotion agency within the Paraguayan Ministry for Industry and Commerce promotes the economic development of the country and is responsible for the coordination of the partner country activities.

Feira Brasileira da Cerveja, which is part of the Beviale Family, is set to welcome the Brazilian beer sector to Blumenau from 13 to 15 March 2019. The trade fair will focus on raw materials and technologies for smaller or craft beer breweries, packaging and sealing solutions, and the latest trends in the sector.

ProWein 2021 will mark the premiere of a revised hall concept and other notable new conveniences for exhibitors and visitors. After a period of improvements to Messe Düsseldorf’s exhibition grounds, the new South Entrance and adjoining Exhibition Hall 1 are slated to open in autumn 2019 and will make their ProWein debuts at the fair to be held March 21–23, 2021.

Craft Beer Italy is just around the corner: less than three months to go for the second edition of the only B2B event in Italy exclusively dedicated to craft beer production. From 27th to 28th March Craft Beer Italy will provide visitors with a dual experience.

Trade visitors can now use "Spotlight – Premieres and Innovations at Fruit Logistica 2019" to prepare for the leading fair for the global fresh produce trade. Fruit Logistica takes place from 6 to 8 February 2019 in Berlin. More than half of the 83 reports published in "Spotlight" focus on world premieres.
