ISM 2016 with new theme pavilions

In order to highlight on the themes snacking, to-go offers, breakfast as well as coffee and gourmet products more clearly, own theme pavilions will be introduced at ISM 2016 in Hall 5.2. Various manufacturers are offering an overview and variety of the attractive diverse product groups under the generic terms "Fruit and vegetable snacks", "Jerky, meat and sausage snacks", "Breakfast" as well as "Coffee and tea". The "Cupping Counter" is the centrepiece in the "Coffee and tea" theme pavilion. Here, tea and coffee specialists can be sampled under professional guidance including the opportunity to establish a direct contact to the suppliers.

BrauBeviale 2015: Craft Beer meets Streetfood

Eating and drinking inevitably belong together. Here it stands to reason that exceptional drinking pleasure should be paired with unconventional food. A promising look beyond the own horizon or rim of the glass is promised for beverages producers, marketing experts and caterers by the SFC Street Food Convention, which is being held within the framework of BrauBeviale 2015 for the first time.

Anuga 2015: Demand for food is changing globally

The qualitative and quantitative demand for food is changing globally. The world‘s population and economic prosperity are rising and the demand for food is higher in the long term. However, the great boom in demand of recent years is abating in industrialised and emerging countries – with the exception of Latin America. The global trend is moving away from increasing amounts towards competition in terms of quality.

The fine art of packaging

From thermoforming to outer packaging: Although new packaging solutions, techniques and materials will also be showcased in the 12 other exhibition halls, iba trade visitors will be expecting the latest packaging innovations in Hall B1 due to the risen demand in concentrated form. In the “Packaging Area”, it will be demonstrated in a multifaceted way that packaging is not the same as packaging.

iba 2015: Snacks and the city
