Modern Bakery Moscow: 11 per cent more visitors
At Modern Bakery Moscow, the 23d international trade fair for bakery and confectionery for Russia and the CIS, the number of visitors increased by 11 per cent: some 16.000 professional visitors from 42 countries could see the products demonstrated by 205 exhibitors from 22 countries.
The trade fair demonstrated products and technologies of the following sectors: food technologies and equipment, ingredients and raw materials, packaging, storage and transportation of food products, shopfitting, refrigeration equipment and technologies, production hygiene.
Packaging Lab, a presentation of ready-made solutions from companies that offer development and production services for bakery and confectionery products, ice cream and pizza, sparked great interest among industry professionals. At the fringe programme, the International Industrial Academy organized the 10th anniversary symposium "Bread as the basis of a healthy diet" and together with ZAO “Hleb” (Tver) held the symposium “Innovations in creating smart bakery production”. Moreover, the fair saw the second stage of the all-Russia contest "Best bread in Russia 2017" which included public tasting sessions and the award ceremony. The organizers of the contest were the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the Russian Union of Bakers, International Industrial Academy, and the Research Institute of Baking Industry.
Next Modern Bakery Moscow will take place on 12-15 March, 2018.
