From January 25th to the 27th 2019, opti will expand to the new Halls C5 and C6 at Fairground Munich, thus taking place in six halls (C1 to C6) for the first time. Consequently, the range of products and services will be even more extensive this time.

The name has been selected and the date is fixed. T4M, the new platform for medical engineering, will take place from 7 to 9 May 2019 at Messe Stuttgart. After the official end of the MEDTEC guest event in Stuttgart, Messe Stuttgart immediately took up talks with companies in the industry.

The Youth Academy for Technical Orthopaedics (Youth.Academy TO) is an initiative for cross-specialist development of young entrants to the sector. At OTWorld the trainees and students in orthopaedic technology, physiotherapy and medicine will be offered a broad program.

Medical Fair India, taken place from 16 to 18 March 2018 in Mumbai, announces that the fair saw 12,350 trade visitors come to the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre to learn from 551 exhibitors about innovations for health
care and current trends.

The exhibition organisers UBM and NürnbergMesse received formal approval from the German Federal Cartel Office for their proposed joint venture and will now move forward with the launch of a new medical technology exhibition, MedtecLIVE. MedtecLIVE will be held in Nuremberg from 21-23 May 2019.

The European Union promoted its cutting-edge European healthcare SMEs (small and medium sized enterprises) at Arab Health 2018, from 29 January to 1 February in Dubai, UAE. One highlight: the European Pavillon at the trade fair.

14 exhibit zones covering the entire chain of medical device design and manufacturing, will be set up by the medical device and manufacturing exhibition, Medtec China, which is taking place on September 26 to 28 in Shanghai, China. Around 400 global suppliers are expected.
