It is announced as a major step further towards becoming an international event: The European Association of dangerous goods Safety Advisers (EASA) is now the endorsing sponsor of the Trade Fair Dangerous Goods & Dangerous Materials (from 9 to 11 April 2019 in Leipzig).

ProMat is an international material handling, logistics and supply chain show and conference held in North America and South America. The event will be held April 8 to 11, 2019 at Chicago's McCormick Place (USA) and presents the whole portfolio of the industry.

The transport logistic China Forum will become an integral part of the international transport logistic network. Starting from 2019, LogiMAT China will also take place at the same time and location as the respective transport logistic event in Shanghai.

Under the motto "Trends in SMMart Shipping", the maritime trade fair SMM in Hamburg focused on digitalisation and ‘green shipping’ this year. The fair counted around 50,000 industry visitors from more than 120 countries and a total of 2,289 exhibitors from 69 nations.

Researchers from all over Europe develop an air coating that reduces frictional resistance of ships. Therefore, they use the salvinia effect studied by Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). It allows an air layer to permanently exist under water. "AIRCOAT" is aimed at developing a passive air lubrication technology for ships.

The second edition of the Fair Dangerous Goods & Dangerous Materials will take place from 9 to 11 April 2019 in Leipzig, Germany. The exhibitors will present solutions for dangerous goods transport, materials intralogistics and maximum safety in the handling of highly sensitive goods.
