Because of Iran’s strategically important position on the trade routes between Asia and Europe and its important role in transport and logistics, IMAG will be organising the specialist trade fair Iran Logistics 2019 as an international partner together with the Iranian trade fair organizer Milad e Noor.
The logistics trade fair was previously known as "International Exhibition of Logistics & Supply Chain, Related Industries Equipment". For its fourth edition in 2019 it will be renamed as Iran Logistics and will also be expanded at the same time. The exhibition categories include logistics services and equipment, warehouse equipment and material transport, distribution, information and communications systems as well as Integrated Traffic Management Systems (ITMS).
According to the organizer, a further large-scale transit project makes developing Iranian infrastructure and transportation networks a necessity: In 2000, together with Russia and India, Iran initiated the North-South Transport Corridor, one of the biggest transit routes in Central Asia. In order to increase its capacity and extend its reach, the route, which connects the Indian Ocean and the Persian Gulf with Northern Europe, will be expanded to include an additional 10 countries, the organizer says.

IMAG gets on board at Iran Logistics
The Iran Logistics will take place between 2 to 5 February 2019 at the Tehran International Permanent Fairground in the Iranian capital. Exhibitors will showcase their new products and services relating to logistics and transport over eight halls, the trade fair organiser IMAG announces.
