Geneva International Motor Show 2017 ready for takeoff

The organization is underway for the 87th edition of the Geneva International Motor Show, which will take place from March 9-19, 2017 at Palexpo. A new website has been launched for the event to reinforce the institutional communications.

O Canada! at the 2017 Canadian International AutoShow

Join in the celebration of Canada’s 150th birthday: Canada is celebrating its sesquicentennial in 2017, and the Canadian International AutoShow is going to celebrate right along with it, putting a unique lens on Canada and its history with the automobile.

Details set for Washington Auto Show symposium

The Washington Auto Show will present MobilityTalks International — a symposium that will address best government practices that allow innovation to flourish in the field of mobility. The program will advance the ten-day public show that opens Friday, Jan. 27.

Electric vehicles: New batteries to offer greater range

A new generation of electric vehicles containing significantly more powerful batteries is preparing for launch at the 2015 IAA – coinciding perfectly with the market push planned by the German government and National Electric Mobility Platform. With ranges of 250 – 400 kilometres, these vehicles are increasingly interesting options for fleet operators, becoming cost-effective alternatives that can actually outperform petrol-driven vehicles in terms of mileage.

IAA Cars starts with 210 world premieres

The number of world premieres at this IAA has risen by one third to 210. There are also 26 European premieres and 30 German premieres. “So the IAA is setting off an amazing display of innovations,” Matthias Wissmann, President of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) says.
