Asiamold and SIAF: Unlocking business opportunities

Biggest-ever ISE show expected

The Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) show, which takes place at the RAI Amsterdam on 5-8 February 2019, features more exhibition space and a bigger conference programme than ever before. It is expected to draw numbers in excess of 2018’s totals of 80,923 registered attendees and 1,296 exhibitors.

Liquid metal brings soft robotics a step closer

Researchers at the University of Sussex and Swansea University have invented a way to morph liquid metal into physical shapes. The team says the findings represent an “extremely promising” new class of materials that can be programmed to seamlessly change shape. This open up new possibilities in “soft robotics” and shape-changing displays.
