The second edition of co-located technology fairs - SPS Automation India, Motek and Control India - will take place at the Gujarat University Exhibition and Convention Centre from 7 - 9 April, 2016.

Industry 4.0 - also known as the "Internet of things" - is one of the topics in focus at this year’s SPS IPC Drives. For the first time the exhibition offers the „Industrie 4.0 Area“ in hall 3A. The visitor can gain comprehensive information about Industrie 4.0 – the networked and continuous digital production.

MAP, CIM, Industry 4.0 – the catchwords change and integration capabilities advance, but the promise of benefits frequently lags behind the expectations. Fundamental scepticism is associated with this sober way of looking at things to a lesser degree by the practitioners amongst the manufacturers and distributors, and instead with a realistically current assessment of the predominantly prevailing situation.
