The second edition of co-located technology fairs - SPS Automation India, Motek and Control India - will take place at the Gujarat University Exhibition and Convention Centre from 7 - 9 April, 2016.

The three faires SPS Automation India, Motek and Control India made their debut in Gandhinagar, Gujarat last year, with strong support from Gujarat government. This years location Ahmedabad is the fivth biggiest city in India. Referred as one of ‘Asia’s biggest investment infrastructure opportunity centre’, Gujarat continues to be a frontrunner in industrial development of petrochemicals, automobiles, pharmaceuticals, gems and jewellery, textiles, education, hospitality and urban infrastructure sectors. The three trade fairs, which draw attention to high-quality manufacturing technologies, envisages to bring the Indian manufacturing sector a step closer to government’s ‘Make-in-India’ vision by bringing the required technology in industrial, factory and process automation as well as quality control solutions to this Industrial hub in Gujarat.

The exhibitions are being jointly organised by Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Pvt Ltd together with German companies Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH and P. E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG. For the second edition, the organisers also aim to bring in wider participation in the Motek & Control segment that target assembly systems and measuring instruments. Additionally, the platform also provides a forum for dialogue with technology specialists through a dedicated ‘Knowledge Seminar’. Technology market leaders are among some of the key players who will be present at the show to partner and network with Indian manufacturers for their technology requirements that can enhance manufacturing competitiveness.
