A Business Administration graduate, Romina Gowin-Becker began her career at Messe Frankfurt in 2001, where she completed a dual work and study programme, specialising in trade fair, congress and event management. After working for a year in New Zealand, she took on a number of different project management functions at Messe Frankfurt.
Since 2013, she has been responsible for Messe Frankfurt’s Kap Europa venue as Head of Project Management. In her new function, Romina Gowin-Becker – together with her team – will be the point of contact and organisational partner for congress and conference organisers. She is married and has a one-year-old son.

Gowin-Becker new Director Congress Frankfurt
On 1 January 2019, Romina Gowin-Becker (36) has been taking over at the helm of Messe Frankfurt’s department for congress and conference business. She replaces Claudia Delius-Fisher, who entered her well-deserved retirement after 31 years of service to Messe Frankfurt.

Messe Frankfurt’s Hall 12 officially opened
At Messe Frankfurt, the new Hall 12 was officially opened on 25 October at a ceremony attended by some 2,000 invited guests.
