AMB 2018 takes the digital path: By staging the "Digital Way" special show during AMB, the organizers want to "make the metal cutting industry even more aware of this topic and take account of the high demand for information," stresses Ulrich Kromer von Baerle, CEO of Messe Stuttgart.

The dates for the third edition of Moulding Expo, the International Trade Fair for Tool, Pattern and Mould Making, have now been decided. The most important representatives of the industry will again be present at the Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre on 21 to 24 May 2019.

MACH 2018 takes place at the NEC in Birmingham from 9th-13th April and is on course to be another bumper show, organizer MTA (Manufacturing Technologies Association) reports. With a new show layout, MACH 2018 will take place on the atrium side of the NEC, in Halls 17, 18, 19, 20, 6 and 7.

The relocation of Iran Wire to the state-of-the-art exhibition centre Exhibiran International Fairground - currently under construction - has now been decided. The Aria Group, the owners and organisers of Iran Wire, will be holding this high-profile technology trade fair for the first time at the new exhibition centre.

With a 50 per cent increase in the number of exhibitors compared to last year, Formnext 2017 continues its strong growth trend. The Formnext exhibition, which is scheduled to take place for the third time on 14-17 November 2017 in Frankfurt am Main, also sets new standards thanks to its strong international presence.

Entitled "Robot Welding Contest", the German Welding Society (DVS) will continue its contest for the best weld with the aid of a robot at Schweissen & Schneiden (25-29 September in Düsseldorf). The international competition will take place in Hall 13.
