Despite the difficult situation with competition this year, Schweisstec is evolving further and is benefitting from the persistent trend of being able to offer complete manufacturing solutions to end customers, which in turn necessitates a closed process sequence as an essential prerequisite. Schweisstec’s portfolio include thermal cutting and processing, thermal and mechanical joining, fastening technologies and processes, automated welding technologies, accessories and operating equipment. The 13th Blechexpo and the 6th Schweisstec will take place at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre from the 7th through the 10th of November, 2017.

Schweisstec 2017: A seamless extension
Schweisstec, the trade fair complementary to Blechexpo, makes a decisive contribution to the "process sequence" trade fair concept, which more than simply supplements the process sequence for sheet metal, pipe and profile processing with the fields of thermal and mechanical welding, joining and fastening technology, but rather seamlessly extends them.

Blechexpo 2015: More robots and handling systems than ever
The annual event for the sheet metal, pipe and profile processing industries, the Blechexpo international trade fair for sheet metal processing and the Schweisstec international trade fair for joining technology, will be focusing on solutions which are aligned to process sequences – and the automation of processes and materials handling plays a significant role in this respect. As a result, more robots and handling systems will be showcased at Blechexpo and Schweisstec than ever before, and the same applies above all to automated thermal curing and joining technology, as well as mechanical fastening.
