For yet another year, FoodTech Barcelona is set to showcase the latest food industry solutions and innovations, focusing on all aspects of food production from ingredients to the manufacturing process, including packaging and arrival at the point of sale. Fira de Barcelona is set to host this Spanish benchmark event from 8-11 May 2018.

At Modern Bakery Moscow, the 23d international trade fair for bakery and confectionery for Russia and the CIS, the number of visitors increased by 11 per cent: some 16.000 professional visitors from 42 countries could see the products demonstrated by 205 exhibitors from 22 countries.

GHM Gesellschaft für Handwerksmessen, organiser of the trade fair iba, has established a marketing cooperation with the Heidelberg-based trade fair organiser fairtrade and its trade fair iran food + bev tec. GHM CEO Dieter Dohr expects this cooperation to offer iba exhibitors access to the regions around the Caspian Sea and the Persian Gulf.

For its 3rd edition the SAVE FOOD Congress held on 4 May 2017 at Congress Center Süd of the Düsseldorf exhibition centre as part of interpack 2017 will pursue a multi-dimensional approach for fighting food losses and waste. The trade fair interpack will take place on 4-10 May, 2017.

The Beviale Family is extending its international growth strategy to include a new market: Brazil. The "Feira Brasileira da Cerveja" beer festival in Blumenau, Brazil will therefore be "supported by BrauBeviale" from 2018, German trade fair organizer NürnbergMesse announced.

The aims of the new cooperation are clear: a broader range of products and services to offer exhibitors and visitors and more targeted acquisition of market participants for the events of both partners.
