Digital Retail Award 2016 at viscom

Tomorrow's PoS: At viscom, the nominees of the Digital Retail Award 2016 will be presented on the "digital retail space" in Frankfurt in Hall 8, D33 from 2 to 4 November.

The projects nominated for the Retail Awards 2016 will be introduced to the expert public on the “digital retail space”, the new digital area of viscom POS.
When technology tells you where the shoe will be too tight for your foot, the airport signposting system not only shows you the way but also displays flight details and retail bargains or the drive-thru allows you to establish direct digital eye contact with the barista, then advertising and digital agencies, retailers and branded product manufacturers have again delivered striking evidence of their performance. The digital showcase projects at the PoS will be recognised with the Digital Retail Award at viscom in Frankfurt. 2016 saw 17 projects being nominated for the awards in the three categories "Instore", "To-Store" and "Online, Mobile". For particularly innovative solutions the jury can present the "Special Award" in each category. The projects nominated for the Retail Awards 2016 will be introduced to the expert public on the "digital retail space", the new digital area of viscom POS. The award presentation ceremony will be held on the first evening of the trade fair at a special event in Frankfurt.

About the Digital Retail Award 2016

The Digital Retail Award is a further development of the Digital Signage Best Practice Award, which has been a fixture in the digital signage industry since 2007. Focusing on new retail solutions, digital signage is part of viscom, the International Trade Fair for Visual Communication. The new award was created in response to the stronger focus on marketing for the Point of Sale. The Digital Retail Award recognises efficiently planned, creatively implemented, innovative and successful digital communication and digital signage projects with a focus on retail, brand and trade communication.

30 per cent more visitors at Viscom 2019
