From 24 to 28 June 2019, the 4th European Steel Technology and Application Days (ESTAD) will once again accompany the International Metallurgy Trade Fair (Metec), which will take place for the tenth time. The Steel Institute VDEh is thus sticking to the tradition of accompanying the Metec with a technical conference.

Expomafe 2019 - the Brazilian machine tool and industrial automation exhibition, will gather 650 big national and international brands expecting the visit of more than 55,000 professionals seeking modernization for retaking the demand. The fair takes place from May 7th to 11th, 2019, in São Paulo.

From 26 to 29 September 2018 the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) will be opening its gates for the eighth wire China 2018, the biggest industry show in the wire and cable sector in Asia. Once again, it will be held in parallel with Tube China, the organisers announced.

As part of its Chinese expansion strategy, Deutsche Messe is launching a new international trade fair for the metalworking and sheet metal working industry in southern China. Under the name of Metal + Tech, the show will premier from 27 to 30 November 2018 at the Guangdong (Tanzhou) International Convention and Exhibition Center in the city of Foshan.

The next edition of AMB, which will take place on 18-22 September 2018 in Stuttgart, features more exhibition space, even more exhibitors and solution-based offers relating to the megatopic of digitalisation. More than 1,500 exhibitors will present their developments on 120,000 square metres.

Registration is now open for the IMTS 2018 Conference, a platform for manufacturing education at IMTS – The International Manufacturing Technology Show. The IMTS 2018 Conference features 69 sessions over four days, on 10-13 September, 2018, at McCormick Place in Chicago, and covers information that’s current and actionable for all manufacturers.

Slightly more than 6,000 trade visitors attended SurfaceTechnology Germany over the three days of the event. With a new name and all in green, the former O&S had set out to become even more international. And the plan succeeded, with 25 per cent of the approx. 300 exhibitors as well as the 6,000+ trade visitors coming from abroad.

Messe Essen is extending its longstanding collaboration with the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society. In the future, too, both partners will thus cooperate with regard to both the leading trade fairs, Schweissen & Schneiden and Beijing Essen Welding & Cutting.

BLECH India - India’s premier exhibition for the Sheet Metal Working industry, returns to Mumbai on 25-27 April, 2019. Taking place in the newly built Hall 4, the exhibition "will build on the success of five previous editions," the organiser Inter Ads-Brooks Exhibitions announced.

More than 71,500 trade visitors (compared to 69,500 in 2016) from 134 countries came to Düsseldorf over the five days to find out about industry innovations and conclude business deals at the world’s No. 1 trade fairs wire, the international wire and cable fair, and Tube, the international pipe and tube fair.
