The participants, all of whom are SMEs, come from nearly every part of the lightweight value chain and will cover all the key trends in the industry, including digitalization, additive manufacturing, hybrid materials and the new possibilities opened up by the latest design, process and simulation solutions.
The "Lightweighting in Baden-Württemberg" pavilion in Hall 6 is co-organized by Leichtbau BW and Baden-Württemberg International. Leichtbau BW is wholly owned by the State of Baden-Württemberg and represents a network of around 1,450 companies and over 200 research institutions covering all aspects of lightweight technology.

Innovative lightweight solutions at HANNOVER MESSE
The "Lightweighting in Baden-Württemberg" pavilion in Hall 6 ranks among the big highlights at the Industrial Supply show at this year's HANNOVER MESSE. From 24 to 28 April 2017, 10 companies from the German state of Baden-Württemberg will be showcasing their latest lightweight solutions on the pavilion's 220 square meters (2,370 sq. ft) of display space.
