E-Commerce arena for the first time
On Sunday, 6 March 2016, the E-Commerce arena in Passage 4/5 is also new at the trade fair, where online suppliers will be present with their own trade fair participations. The area will receive special attention. As a further trade fair highlight, the results of the brief study "B2B marketplaces 2016 - what it really comes down to," which Koelnmesse jointly carried out with the IFH Cologne, will be exclusively presented to the trade visitors. Moreover, in the scope of the new Fastener Forum, Hall 5.2 will be focusing on the fastening technology throughout the entire duration of the trade fair.
EISENforum for interested buyers
On Monday, 7 March 2016, interested buyers, predominantly from the industry, will meet up at the EISENforum during the BME Buyers' Day between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. The Federal Association of Material Management, Purchasing and Logistics, BME is inviting buyers to the get-together, which is all about 'Optimising procurement processes'. Among others, the topics will be top purchasing indicators, steel and energy procurement as well as C article management trends. On Tuesday, 8 March 2016, in the scope of the EISENforum industry-specific themes will be addressed in the course of the Expert Talks.
Trainees can increase their competences
The Matchmaking Programme Buying Day of the Presidents Council offers exclusive discussions with potential and international buyers from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Congress Centre East, Congress Saal Section 3. It will get exciting for the trainees of the industry on the last day of the trade fair. The Working Committee on Tools (AKW) of the Central Association of the Hardware Trade (ZHH) is once again inviting all trainees of the specialised tool trade to attend the Trainees Day at the trade fair in order to get to know the diversity of this industry up-close, increase their consulting competence and above all to get to know their partners in the tool, fasteners and industrial supply sectors better.
