Digitization is having a major impact on logistics supply chains. The "Logistics 4.0 Experience Hub" at CeMAT will spotlight the supply chains of the future as well as the challenges facing the industry. Running the length of CeMAT from 23 to 27 April 2018, this special showcase will consist of some 30 exhibitors showcasing the latest technology involving goods transport, incoming goods, production, warehousing, order picking, packing and outgoing goods.

Solar energy holds increasing appeal for use in the mobility sector. Depending on the application, even diesel fuel for trucks can be replaced by photovoltaics to some extent. Fraunhofer-Institut für Solare Energiesysteme ISE has carried out and evaluated yield analyses of PV power supply for commercial vehicles, such as refrigerated transport vehicles, using real-life solar irradiance data.

The CeMAT will showcase with "Logistics 4.0 Meets Industry 4.0" at the HANNOVER MESSE from 24 to 28 April 2017. Specialists will be appearing offering talks, presentations and panel discussions highlighting the role of intralogistics in the industrial supply chain.

Next year's CeMAT will take place at the Hannover Exhibition Center, in conjunction with HANNOVER MESSE, the trade fair for industrial technology. From April 23 to 27, 2017, the CeMAT puts intralogistics for smart factories in focus.
