New hall concept for ProWein 2021
ProWein 2021 will mark the premiere of a revised hall concept and other notable new conveniences for exhibitors and visitors. After a period of improvements to Messe Düsseldorf’s exhibition grounds, the new South Entrance and adjoining Exhibition Hall 1 are slated to open in autumn 2019 and will make their ProWein debuts at the fair to be held March 21–23, 2021.

After six events using the current hall layout, ProWein 2021 will provide an expanded range of service and infrastructure features for exhibitors and visitors alike, making it an even more efficient B2B platform for all players in the international wine business. By integrating the newly created South Entrance and Hall 1, the leading trade fair will also benefit from one of the world's most modern trade fair center architecture.

Berlemann to become new General Manager in Shanghai
1 April 2019 sees Marius Berlemann take over as General Manager at Messe Düsseldorf Shanghai Co. Ltd. where he will be in charge of all projects and personnel for the portfolio of Messe Düsseldorf in China. He succeeds Heiko M. Stutzinger who left the company on 31 January 2019.
