With more than 2,500 exhibitors (600+ new to the Show) along with so many networking opportunities, it may get a little overwhelming to attendees looking for a particular product, wanting to explore a specific category, or just find something new to bring back to their customers. The National Hardware Show is here to help, with a new recommendation program that benefits both attendees and exhibitors.
“We know everyone at the Show - both those attending to network and find new ideas, as well as those exhibiting to show off their products - are taking a lot of time away from their businesses to come to Las Vegas,” says Rich Russo, vice president of the National Hardware Show. “We also know that, with so many resources available, it can be tough to pinpoint exactly the person or product you’re looking for. We’re excited that the new recommendation program will be a benefit to both attendees and exhibitors and have a huge impact on the way attendees shop the Show.”
When attendees register for the Show, they’re asked to provide information about the product categories they’re most interested in shopping and learning more about while at the Show. They’ll then receive a personalized list of suggested exhibitors and products, matching the product categories they are interested in. The goal is to help attendees quickly and easily discover something new or find exactly what they’re looking for. While attendees definitely want to set aside some time to explore the Show floor and see what new vendors and products they can find, this list of recommendations can help attendees find the items they most want to see.
Once they are at the Show, visitors can use the NHS Mobile App (which is free and can be downloaded in the Apple Store or at Google Play) to find their recommendations. The app also includes times and locations of all events, as well as a complete list of exhibitors and booth numbers.
