The proven concept of finding system solutions for the challenges facing China's large cities will remain unchanged. At the same time, extending the fair and integrating the congress into the exhibition halls is also resulting in content changes. For the first time ever, there will be a special day for project developers.
The challenges that must be met in China's large cities to implement system solutions follow the three main themes that were defined for the BCC: “Urban Strategies”, “Project Development and Implementation” and “Smart Building Technology”. In both the conference program and the affiliated exhibition, these main themes demonstrate ways in which the special characteristics of the Chinese market can be taken into account during planning and building and implemented in projects and business activities.
International approaches versus actual practice in China
The main themes “Urban Strategies” and “Smart Building Technology” will set the direction on the first day and the third day. The topic “Project Development and Implementation” will provide a special framework for the second day of the congress. For the first time ever, two speakers will go on stage and state their views on the same project. Architects and project developers will explain how they work on a joint project. The focus: international approaches versus actual practice in China.

Expansion of congress program
Besides an expanded and extensive congress program, once again BAU Congress China (BCC) from July 4 to 6, 2016 will feature internationally renowned speakers from the architecture, political and commercial sectors.
