From 6 to 8 September 2017 the MEDICAL FAIR THAILAND held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok. It will be a meeting point for physicians, hospital managers, health care professionals, medical device dealers, medical professionals and representatives of state-run healthcare organisations. 8,500 trade visitors are expected at Thailand’s important networking and business platform for the industry, according to the organizer. Focal ranges include rehabilitation and orthopaedic technologies, medical information and communication technology as well as emergency medicine.
Innovations for rehabilitation and nursing care will be showcased at the Rehab Pavilion at MEDICAL FAIR THAILAND. Taking centre stage will be everyday aids, mobility and walking aids, orthopaedic aids, robotics, brain stimulation techniques for neurological rehabilitation as well as ultrasonic devices for muscular-skeletal diseases.
The 3rd Advanced Rehab Technology Conference held concurrently with the trade fair is entitled “Robotics for Mobility: Quality of Life for an Ageing World”. The conference focuses on robot-assisted rehabilitation and provides information on robots for balance and gait training. A special workshop addresses dysphagia, swallowing disorders that especially occur in the elderly. The Conference complements the trade fair and brings together high-calibre sectoral experts from science, practice and industry who are rising to the current challenges of an ageing society.
