As in the debates at the German Pharmacy Day, which was held at the same time, the focus of exhibitor offers was on the politically-desired expansion of the digitisation of the health care system.
Services such as the medication plan were also topics of the lectures and discussion meetings at the consistently well-attended expopharm pharma-world. The scientific programme also included the topics of self-medication indications and prescriptions, as well as the highly topical subject of cannabis. The presence of high-profile and independent speakers ensured that the auditorium was full at all times, states the organizer. The presentation area was surrounded by the participating pharmaceutical companies, which presented their brands associated with the presented indications in 28 exhibition areas.
On Saturday, the pharma-world programme also especially focused on PTA with selected topics and special consultation-oriented lectures. The positive feedback from the visitors showed that the link between product information and knowledge transfer, which is so important for trade fairs, is appreciated and adopted by pharmacists, reports the organizer.
Expopharm 2018 will be taking place from 10 to 13 October.

Expopharm 2017: strong results
For four days, the Düsseldorf exhibition centre was the site of a key industry event of the German pharmacy market, the expopharm. The fair - being held from September 13 to 16, 2017 - counted more than 500 exhibitors and almost 27,000 trade visitors.
