To celebrate its 50th anniversary, SHK ESSEN is extending its scope: for the first time, both energy providers and manufacturers of municipal utilities supply and waste disposal pipelines have the opportunity to present themselves from 9 to 12 March 2016 at Messe Essen. There will also be extra focus on refrigeration technology, to supplement the content on air-conditioning technology.

SHK Essen will provide new exhibition areas with added value for trade visitors

By providing such comprehensive coverage of the household environment, the trade fair is offering its visitors additional benefits: SHK's specialist visitors can now obtain information on all aspects of heat generation, heat transportation and heat output and will find even more solutions from the field of refrigeration technology, a business sector which is increasingly in demand.
With a sharper focus on refrigeration technology, SHK ESSEN is complementing its content on air-conditioning technology, which is already represented at the trade fair. In this way, the trade fair is responding to the wishes of many of its trade visitors, whose businesses are already operating in this sector. Approximately 70 exhibitors will be presenting technological solutions from the fields of air-conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation to the trade public.
Refrigeration technology
For the first time, the trade fair will also have a special information area on refrigeration technology. In Hall 2, stand 2B14, the information centre for refrigeration, air conditioning and energy technology will be introducing the profession of electro-mechanical engineering in the refrigeration technology field as well as various further training opportunities, in conjunction with the North Rhine Guild for refrigeration and air-conditioning technology. A training unit will provide demonstrations of hardware and software solutions which are used to determine the energy efficiency of refrigeration-, air-conditioning and heat pump systems.
At the energy management hub, municipal utility companies will present their opportunities for collaboration with trade businesses. Specialists in the fields of supply and waste disposal will be able to discuss municipal supply and waste disposal concepts at the Federal Association of Gas and Water Companies' joint stand.
