With 8,000 visitors and around 180 exhibitors expected, the IPB is once again on course for growth, thus highlighting the importance of the steadily growing Chinese market. Around 2,000 trade visitors are expected to attend the PBSI in Mumbai, drawn by the more than 80 Indian and international exhibitors as well as a top-class conference programme.

IPB China: top sectors include chemicals, pharmaceuticals and food
IPB China represents the entire spectrum of the process industry and accommodates the needs of the Asian markets in particular. The products on display at the trade fair range from processing technology for handling powder and bulk solids to pulverisers, mixers and separators as well as thermal and chemical processes. In addition, visitors to IPB can learn about the latest measuring and analysis technology, components for plant engineering, services and accompanying technologies.
Platform for the bulk material handling and processing industry
The PBSI, an important event for processing technology and bulk solids handling on the Indian sub-continent, is taking place for the sixth time in 2016. In 2015, 78 exhibitors from eight countries came to Mumbai to display a wide range of systems and technologies for mixing, pulverising, conveying and analysing powder and bulk solids. Around 2,000 trade fair visitors and conference delegates exchanged views on technical challenges and their solutions.
In the follow-up to the PBSI, more than 80 per cent of exhibitors confirmed that they had been able to identify a good or excellent market potential in India for their products at the fair.
An international board is once again organising a high calibre supporting programme. The conference agenda includes theoretical and practice-based presentations and workshops on topics such as dust control, power plant logistics or efficiency in pneumatic conveying.
A double act for process experts
The Powder & Bulk Solids India Exhibition & Conference (PBSI) will open its doors in Mumbai from 13 to 15 October 2016. And from 19 to 21 October, Shanghai will be the venue for the International Powder & Bulk Solids Processing Conference & Exhibition (IPB).
