This year's India Essen Welding & Cutting, which took place together with the Tube India, Metallurgy India and Wire & Cable India fairs, drawed more than 4,500 trade visitors from 14 countries, the quartet registered a plus of more than 19 per cent compared with the preceding event (in 2016: 12,282).The International Monetary Fund (IMF) forecast impressive economic growth of 7.3 percent for India in 2018. This is also associated with investments in the infrastructure - thus, good prerequisites for the eighth India Essen Welding & Cutting. Here, the exhibitors showed their products for manual welding and machine welding. It was possible to see devices not only for the most diverse welding processes but also for coating, robotics and automation. The exhibitors praised the quality of the trade visitors and highlighted, above all, their great decision-taking powers. Thus, the trade event backed by Messe Essen, its partner Messe Düsseldorf India as well as the cooperation partner DVS - German Welding Society once again emphasised its position as the leading fair for welding and cutting technologies in India.
