In its internationalization, Messe München relies on strong local partners that are well established in the regional market. “Without the ITE Group we currently have no such basis in the logistics segment in the USA. The USA remains an interesting market for our transport logistic network, and we will continue to explore the opportunities it has to offer.”
Actually, the Transportation & Logistics Americas was based on a cooperative partnership between the ITE Group, Messe München and the American logistics association MHI. The new event was to be held in parallel with the MODEX intralogistics trade fair in April 2018 in Atlanta in the United States, organized by MHI.
As part of a general strategic realignment of its trade fair portfolio, the ITE Group has decided to end this cooperative partnership. As a result, the trade fair cannot be held in the planned constellation.
Transportation & Logistics to be cancelled
A strategic realignment of the cooperation partner ITE Group is the reason for the cancellation of the fair. So, the Transportation & Logistics Americas is not being held. The trade fair was planned for April 2018 in Atlanta, USA.
