This year’s shows took place at Shanghai New International Expo Centre and were putting a spotlight on smart manufacturing. The seven shows gathered nearly 2,500 industrial pioneers from home and abroad, serving as a global hub for all things related to intelligent innovations in the industry field. In total the shows covered a display area of nearly 200,000 sqm, taking up all 17 halls with a total of 98,742 visits; once again consolidating the industrial weather vane positions in terms of participants, display area and onsite services. “With the booming of intelligent manufacturing, global enterprises are striving to learn and apply in order to maintain international competence and generate more interests,” Mr. Marc Siemering, Senior Vice President of Deutsche Messe AG said, “Our industrial shows has been promoting the topic from the very start and are dedicated to making the benefits tangible. Seen from this year’s figures, our shows have resoundingly underscored their value as the prime source of intelligent orientation for companies all over the world.”
CeMAT ASIA 2017: Smart Logistics to hit the show
The annual leading logistics event in Asia-Pacific region - CeMAT ASIA 2017 was themed with “smart logistics” to lead the industrial trend, attracting more than 600 world-known enterprises to showcase intelligent forklifts, logistics robots, integrated systems and other high-tech products and technologies within a display area of over 60,000 sqm. This year, the show featured a brand new forklift hall, assembling notable brands to display the intelligence and innovation of forklifts. International robot giants entered the logistics business in rapid succession to present cross-border applications of high-tech products. Not to be outdone, traditional AGV players brought the whole new technological revolution at Hall W3 and W4.
Organized by Deutsche Messe AG and Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd, PTC ASIA, CeMAT ASIA, ComVac ASIA, Cold Chain ASIA, HEAVY MACHINERY ASIA, APEX ASIA and Industrial Supply ASIA 2017 also received great contributions from China Hydraulics Pneumatics & Seals Association, China General Machine Components Industry Association, China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society and China Heavy Machinery Industry Association.
The next edition of CeMAT Asia will be held from November 6-9, 2018 in Shanghai.

CeMAT worldwide: Nine events outside of Germany
