Four major topics of discussion include energy policy and planning on electricity generating technologies for low-carbon emission, power for low-carbon transportation, smart city and green industry with the aim to drive and develop knowledge of energy and technology continuously.
Gain insights of energy technology
The world-class conference and exhibition on provides an opportunity for executives from both public and private sectors, manufacturers, power producers, academics, experts, manufacturers of renewable energy, bankers, investors from all sectors and public from both domestic and abroad, to gain insights of advanced technology in energy as well as advice from experts of relevant agencies both academic and business.
Support from the Ministry of Energy
H.E.Dr. Areepong Bhoocha-oom, permanent secretary to the Ministry of Energy in Thailand said that the government has explicit objectives and policies to promote and drive energy industry to generate income for the country. This is a strategic industry to increase investment in energy infrastructure and development in order to become a hub of energy business of the region by acquiring and developing energy sources and technology to generate electricity from home and abroad.
In addition, the government provides support for the distribution of energy sources and diverse, affordable and sustainable sources, promotes the use of low-carbon emission and electrical energy in the transportation sector and the consumption of gasohol and biodiesel in the household sector, urges the production, utilization as well as research and development of renewable and alternative energy, supports the development of industry entirely, enhances and pushes the energy conservation in full potential. The Ministry of Energy is very pleased to support and co-organize the international conference and exhibition on SETA 2017 which is the event for exhibitions of energy to present knowledge, innovations, various and complete experiences.
Development of energy efficiency in Thailand
Thailand is a leading centre for the development of efficiency of energy consumption and alternative energy development, especially in reducing the impact of carbon dioxide in the air, discharged from various industrial sectors such as communications, transport, energy, electricity, industry, household, etc. This event will focus on the discussion of “low-carbon energy,” for which successful management requires technologies and solutions as well as figure out a common solution so as to improve the efficiency and sustainability of energy production and energy consumption that are the major challenge for Thailand and other countries all over the world. The development of renewable energy with low-carbon dioxide emission and guidelines to inefficiently reduce energy consumption, policies to solve these problems, deem important that we will highlight in this event. It is a great opportunity for Thai people and those who have a role in policy making, management, as well as public to exchange their knowledge and experiences with experts from domestic and international, open their point of views and dimensions of energy development fully.
