This year marks a new format for POWER-GEN Europe and Renewable Energy World Europe, with the decision to run the popular Keynote and Plenary sessions on the first day as opposed to splitting them over two days. This enables the organizers to provide two uninterrupted conference days. The conference will address all the key areas of strategy and technology in the power sector and will introduce special focus sessions devote to important topics, such as hydropower, finance, energy storage and international power market opportunities.

In 2007, Renewable Energy World Europe was launched in Madrid to address the growing demand for renewable solutions. Since that time Renewable Energy World Europe, like the industry it serves, has become integrated as an essential element of POWER-GEN Europe. POWER-GEN Europe and Renewable Energy World Europe are the largest and most comprehensive conference and exhibition for the European electricity and power technology sector.
