The fair is a meeting point for the solar energy sector and offers multiple possibilities for business connections. Participants and visitors from more than 17 countries are expected, such as Afghanistan, Germany, United Arab Emirates, Bulgaria, France, Georgia, Iraq, Iran, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Greece. One unique feature of the fair is that it takes place in a town which unites European and the Middle East.
Over 300 participants and over 20 thousand visitors are expected to join Solarex Istanbul. As the halls 9, 10 and 11 are already completely booked, a tent hall 12 will be installed on an area of 750 square meters at the entrance of the fair area.

The officials of Solarex Istanbul Fair point out that the acceleration of investments in solar energy in Turkey and expectations related to this have surged the importance of the fair. The officials have also highlighted that developments in the surrounding countries make Solarex Istanbul more and more important for global solar players. The preparations for Solarex 2016 had started earlier this year and the officials emphasized that the interest in the fair was high and all stands are fully booked.
In the last years there has been sensed a remarkable growth in interest for renewable energy sources, both in public and business sector. Simultaneously the numbers and dimensions of investments are gradually increasing.

The 9th edition of Solarex Istanbul fair is getting ready to open its gates from April 7th to 9th 2016 at Istanbul Expo Center and will focus on innovations and investments on renewable energy.
