Ecoenergy has the purpose to debate crucial regulatory matters for developing solar power in Brazil, making available funding lines and new initiatives so that they are appropriate to entrepreneurs’ needs, as well as disruptive technologies and strategic alliances among agents.
The environmental issue, both global and local, and recent technological advances have transformed renewable energy into the priority choice for the expansion of electric generating capacity. According to Irena (International Agency for Renewable Energies), since 2012 the installation of renewable capacity has surpassed the non-renewable ones in an increasing way in the world.
In Brazil, the historical importance of hydroelectric plants in the national electric matrix puts it well above this world reality. But Brazil is still struggling to expand alternative sources of renewable energy. In recent years, the energy matrix has seen successive improvements in the supply of wind, photovoltaic and biomass energy.
Ecoenergy gives the opportunity to discuss all these subjects with experts, professionals and representatives from all over the world. More than 12,000 visitors and 80 exhibitors are expected for EnerSolar + Brasil and Ecoenergy.
