The performance festival at Messe Essen gathers many of the best vehicles from Europe, from the daily driver to the high-end showcar. Not only wide bodies and youngtimers, but also the inner values will count this year: Ever more owners are refining the interiors of their vehicles as a supplement to the suspensions, the wheel rims and the engine upgrades. The tuning scene is keen on roll bars and cages in particular. The designs ensure motorsports flair and also increase the safety and stiffness of road vehicles.

At the Essen Motor Show, tuning will become an experience: from 2 to 10 December, around 160 owners will present their automobile works of art in the tuningXperience. The special show in Hall 1A and a part of Hall 9 enjoys a cult status amongst the fans.

China Essen Motor Show to debut in November 2018
The Essen Motor Show will take place in China, too: From November 2018, the China United Rubber Corporation, Guangzhou Zhanlian Exhibition Service Co., Ltd. and Messe Essen GmbH will stage the performance show rich in tradition in the Guangzhou metropolis with millions of inhabitants in southern China. The China Essen Motor Show which will take place every year will open parallel to Auto Guangzhou, one of the three largest car fairs in China most recently with 838 exhibitors and 667,000 visitors.
