Hydrogen + Fuel Cells NORTH AMERICA at SPI 2017

One of the major topics of Hydrogen + Fuel Cells NORTH AMERICA will be the storage of renewable energies. Wind and solar energy can be stored through the production of hydrogen via water electrolysis.

The first Hydrogen + Fuel Cells NORTH AMERICA at Las Vegas will be organized by Tobias Renz FAIR and Hannover Fairs USA, which represents a subsidiary of the Deutsche Messe AG
Hydrogen + Fuel Cells NORTH AMERICA will be held during SOLARPOWER International (SPI 2017) from September 10-13 at Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Las Vegas. Several companies will inform about their latest electrolyser technologies. All visitors of SPI 2017 get the chance to test drive the fuel cell cars from different manufacturers. The test drive will be located in front of the exhibition hall, the cars will be featured by the California Fuel Cell Partnership.

Visitors will have the chance to get informed about the expansion of the hydrogen refueling station network in the US, allowing the use of hydrogen as a clean source for zero-emission fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs). The fueling nozzles will be presented by the market leader. Further topics presented at the exhibition will be: Latest developments on innovative clean energy and fuel cell solutions, solid acid fuel cell stacks for stationary and portable power applications, from tens of watts to tens of kilowatts and bipolar plates, the main components of fuel cells. Exhibitors and leading industry experts will feature a comprehensive forum program, including company presentations and interviews. Additionally the following topics will be discussed: How to connect the Solar Industry and the Hydrogen Industry? Storage of Solar Energy: through the Production of Hydrogen or in Batteries? Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles and Hydrogen Infrastructure: Deployment and Issues.

The topics of H2+FC NORTH AMERICA will include hydrogen generation, storage and transportation, fuel cell systems and applications, stationary-, automotive-, mobile fuel cells, special markets, components and supplying technology, fuel cell and battery testing. SPI 2017 is expecting 650 exhibitors and 18,000 visitors from across the solar industry and adjacent industry sectors. The Energy Storage International (ESI), with more than 115 exhibitors the largest energy storage event in North America, will be co-located with the SPI as well.

Due to this uncertainty, Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH has decided to cancel the physical INTERNORGA 2021 event, which was due to take place in the Hamburg exhibition halls from 12 to 16 March.
