••• 18••• Messewelten bauma CTT RUSSIA 2019 open for registration Messe Muenchen further enhances integration of the Russian business renaming its subsidiary The next edition of bauma CTT RUSSIA is visible on the horizon: from 4 to 7 June 2019, the global construction equipment and technology industry will get together again in Moscow. The annual trade show is considered the most relevant industry hub in Russia. In 2018, around 590 exhibiting companies from 26 countries presented their products and innovations to 22,681 visitors. The event not only focuses on the host country Russia, but also on the entire Eastern European region – and has been doing so for 20 years. At the exhibition center Crocus Expo IEC, both exhibitors and visitors will enjoy more than booths. Suppliers of mobile construction equipment can give a live demonstration of their products: just as for this service’s premiere at bauma CTT RUSSIA 2018, this year’s edition will feature a 3,000 m² outdoor demo area. Different product foci Road construction, construction vehicles, lifting gear, mining – each of the four show days is devoted to one of these market segments to structure the construction machinery industry’s wide range of topics. Generally, the Russian construction industry is optimistic. The high economic expectations are based on the country’s planned infrastructure expansion worth billions, including highways, airports, metro lines and high-speed rail routes. For exhibitors and visitors to establish business relations even more efficiently, bauma CTT RUSSIA will for the first time feature B2B meetings: prior to the event, exhibitors can provide information on their favoured target visitor group and visitors on the companies they are interested in. Based on this information, the trade fair organizer then arranges individual meetings that can either be held at the respective company booth or in the exhibition center’s VIP lounge. Registration for bauma CTT RUSSIAwill be possible until 22 April 2019. Meanwhile, Messe München fosters its engagement in Russia. Since November 2018 the subsidiary CTT Expo LLC has a new company name: Messe Muenchen Rus LLC. The name change is an important milestone in the strategic business development in Russia. In 2015, Messe München made the largest acquisition in its company history at that time and expanded its portfolio with the world’s fifth-largest construction trade show, the Russian “Construction Equipment & Technologies / CTT”. The trade show now belongs to the bauma-Network and was renamed bauma CTT RUSSIA in 2017. Initially, the organizing subsidiary CTT Expo LLC was named after the trade show; now the name was changed to Messe Muenchen Rus LLC to comply with Messe München Corporate Identity. Fostering business The previous foreign representatives will be integrated into the subsidiary Messe Muenchen Rus LLC. Ms. Larissa Kovalenko and her team, who represented Messe München in Russia for more than ten years, make the Russian team complete. “With our subsidiary Messe Muenchen Rus LLC as the organizer of the trade show bauma CTT RUSSIA and its CEO, Mr. Sergey Alexandrov, the Messe München Family is well positioned and perfectly represented in the Russian market.
