There, software specialists will be showing how digitalization can realize potential benefits in costs and efficiency based on a series of projects and practical examples. An exhibitor will be demonstrat- ing a real revolution: The company has integrated various VR and AR glasses into their software. This breakthrough will enable visi- tors directly at the booth to experience industrial installations in a whole new dimension and determine which system suits them best. Another company will be showing their latest version of a simu- lation system. The hardware-in-the-loop simulation realizes digital twins that do not differ from real systems. The simu- lations do not only secure plant designs but also enable the real commissioning on virtual compo- nents. In the same hall, security in automation will also be playing an important role. Exhibitors will showcase a new solution that can interface with machines from a va- riety of manufacturers to collect, analyze, and filter data on their condition and performance, or transfer it securely to monitoring systems or into the cloud.
