The ex- hibitors at FH Nord demonstrate the concepts for the future and show how to do things better, for breakfast, snacking, lunchtime and evening products. FH Nord is held with the support of the North German Butchers’ Guilds in cooperation with Internorga di- rectly at the trade fair site, on the upper floor of the South Entrance. This close relationship with Inter- norga enables trade visitors to get a comprehensive view of innova- tions for the butchery trade and new ideas and products for their snack and catering business. Butchers future concepts at FH Nord Who will be the successor to last year’s winner Riccardo La Rosa as Europe’s best pizza maker? The best pizza bakers will battle it out live at Internorga for the Euro- pean Championship title “Giro- pizza d’Europa 2017”. The thrilling finale in Hamburg brings together the champions from the qualifying events in Rome, Rimini, Paris, Budapest, Amsterdam, Massa Carrara and Riva del Garda. It is backed by expert presentations and a wide range of exhibitors presenting the ideal accessories for the perfect pizza. At Internorga, the Europe- an Pizza Championship “Giropizza d’Europa 2017” will take place on Monday, 20 March in Hall A2. This prestigious award goes to forward looking compa- nies that pursue sustainable poli- cies with positive environmental impact. The category “Trendsetter Com- pany – Artisan” honours artisan companies such as butchers and bakers that combine their tradi- tional manufacturing methods with innovative technologies and sustainable management. “Trendsetter Company – HORE- CA“ is aimed at companies from the hotel, restaurant, catering and institutional catering sectors. They are expected to show how to combine business operations and sustainable management, for example by using environmental- friendly ingredients, by resource and energy efficiency, or by fair trading. Two other categories are open exclusively to exhibitors at Internorga: “Trendset- ter Product – Food & Beverages” hon- ours innovative food and beverages that are characterised by organic ingre- dients, high quality or fair production conditions. “Trendsetter Product – Fittings & Equipment” honours smart solutions which are long- lasting and efficient in operation, and in use of energy and materi- als. This category also includes technical innovations which opti- mise working processes and thus set new standards. The award gives companies an ex- clusive setting to showcase their commitment and innovative capa- bilities. The applications include a wide range of sustainable ideas, such as mobile canteens, crunchy snacks made from fruit and vege- tables by a unique drying process, and mattresses and beds made from natural materials.
