•••6••• Messewelten New“Networking Campus” think tank Communication hub and discussion platform for young researchers, start-ups and developers P owtech 2019 will see the pre- miere of the Networking Cam- pus, the new think tank for the technologies and markets of the future. The Networking Campus is a communication hub and discus- sion platform for young research- ers, start-ups and developers. The heart of the campus is an open presentation stage, where participants can get involved in an interactive programme based on the BarCamp format. In brief presentations, workshops and discussions, with a research post- er or a stand at the adjacent ta- ble-top exhibition, all participants offer insights into the future of modern bulk solids and particle technology. “From 2019, ‘Generation Future’ will gather at the Networking Campus. Innovative solutions for the processing industries are part of Powtech’s DNA. Through the Networking Campus we are now creating the missing link between process engineering and the dis- ruptive technologies of the future that are currently turning industry and daily life upside down,” says Beate Fischer, Director Powtech. Exhibitors, networking campus participants and trade visitors can all contribute on the mod- erated presentation stage. The programme is created on a daily basis. Anyone can submit a pres- entation, workshop or TED-style talk up until check-in and start of the BarCamp, i.e. the presentation series. Interaction and dialogue are what it’s all about. Themati- cally, the Networking Campus will focus on “Future Markets” and “Future Technologies” and there will be BarCamps on the following topics: Energy storage and energy converters; closed-loop economy; Additive Manufacturing (“Future Markets”) and Digitalisation / Dig- ital Transformation in the bulk sol- ids segment; Human and cobot; Virtual, Augmented, Mixed Real- ity: Opportunities and limitations in bulk solids operations (“Future Technologies”). A jobs board with interview room for ad-hoc interviews and the Dechema and VDI-GVC Process- Net Café are welcome additions to the Networking Campus. Make contacts, improve your knowl- edge and enjoy exploring ground- breaking topics – the Networking Campus offers all this and more. At Powtech, two other forums provide sustenance for knowl- edge-hungry powder and bulk solids experts. In Hall 2, the Ex- pert Forum provides the platform for a specialist programme focus- ing on food and chemicals. In Hall 3, pharmaceutical experts gather at the Pharma.Manufacturing.Ex- cellence Forum, where they can look forward to a high-calibre in- ternational programme of pres- entations by the International Association for Pharmaceutical Technology (APV). The international PARTEC Con- gress for Particle Technology will run parallel to Powtech 2019. More than 500 delegates are expected at the event, which is sponsored by the VDI Associa- tion of Process and Chemical En- gineering (VDI-GVC). In six halls, visitors will experience the latest in process engineering and see hundreds of systems in live op- eration. The Networking Campus is a new feature at POWTECH 2019 Photo: NuernbergMesse Megatrends additive Fertigung und Energiespeicherung Vorträge, Live-Vorführungen, Guided Tours und eine Sonderschau in Nürnberg – Powtech 2019 erstmals in sechs Messehallen Mechanische Verfahrenstech- nik in all ihren Facetten: In sechs Messehallen, bei Vorträgen, Live- Vorführungen, Guided Tours und einer Sonderschau erhalten Ver- treter der Pulver- und Schüttgut- branche auf der Powtech nützli- chem Praxiswissen. 823 Aussteller aus 35 Ländern kommen auf der internationalen Leitmesse für Pulver- und Schütt- gut im Messezentrum Nürnberg zusammen und führen den Be- suchern ihre Neuheiten und Best Practices vor. Dabei können Fach- besucher der Schüttgut-Commu- nity in sechs Hallen Maschinen im Live-Betrieb erleben und sich direkt mit den Unternehmen über deren Weiterentwicklungen am Stand austauschen. Ob Mischen, Zerkleinern, Agglomerieren oder Trennen – die Anlagen und Ma- schinen sind entscheidend für die Produktionsprozesse vieler Bran- chen. „Was aktuelle Megatrends der Industrie anbelangt, wie bei- spielsweise die additive Fertigung oder Energiespeicherung, so ist die mechanische Verfahrenstech- nik gar nicht wegzudenken“, sagt Beate Fischer, Leiterin Powtech. „Auf der Powtech wird es genau um diese Anwendungsszenarien gehen.“ Weitere Trendthemen sind unter anderem Continuous Manufacturing, Modularer Anla- genbau und natürlich die Digitali- sierung der Produktionsabläufe. In Halle 2 bildet das Expertenfo- rum die Bühne für Vorträge mit den Schwerpunkten Food und Chemie. An drei Messetagen gibt es ein nonstop Vortragspro- gramm zu Themen wie Förderung und Dosierung von Pulvern und Feststoffen, Druckluft-Versor- gung oder Prozess-Optimierung im Schüttguthandling. Experten der Lebensmittelindustrie geben Einblick in Food Economy 4.0, Food Safety und die pneumati- sche Förderung von Pulvern und Schüttgütern. In der gleichen Halle befindet sich auch die Son- derschau „Staub kennt Grenzen – Freihandel nicht“ der VDMA- Fachabteilung Luftreinhaltung und Trocknungstechnik. Hier wer- den Möglichkeiten aufgezeigt, dem Staub Grenzen zu setzen: Mithilfe von innovativen und häu- fig digital gestützten Filterungs- und Abscheidungs-Systemen. Die Halle 3 beheimatet das Forum Pharma.Manufacturing.Excel- lence. Das Pharmaforum verbin- det funktionelle Hilfsstoffe und moderne Anlagen – der Schlüssel für Prozesseffizienz und optima- le Arzneiformen. Die Vorträge haben folgende Themenschwer- punkte: „Tabletting“; „Coating / Granulation / Cleaning“ und „Con- tinuous manufacturing“. Koordiniert wird das Pharmafo- rum von der Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Pharmazeutische Verfahrens- technik (APV). In unmittelbarer Nähe vervollständigen erstmals auch Anbieter pharmazeutischer Hilfsstoffe in einer Table-Top-Prä- sentation das Angebot der Pow- tech für Pharma-Experten.
