This means that they have very specif- ic requirements of their vehicles. Whatever their area of specialisa- tion, these skilled tradespeople need reliable commercial vehicles that maximise available space and, above all, allow them to se- cure transport loads. NUFAM offers a wide range of commercial vehicles for different trades, with vehicle equipment and load-securing systems that make it easier to get the job done. Between 28 September and 1 Oc- tober 2017, over 350 exhibitors will be presenting the entire spec- trum of products and services in the sector at Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre. Craftsman pavilion At the special get-together on the third trade fair day (30 Septem- ber), tradespeople can find out about the latest trends and inno- vations in vehicles designed for their specific needs. The crafts- man pavilion in the trade fair’s atrium provides ample opportu- nities for talking shop with sector experts. As part of Craftsmen Day, the Load-Securing Forum focuses on the best possible way to secure different types of loads and trans- port goods. With Königsberger Ladungssicherungskreis e. V., the NUFAM team has also gained an expert partner that prepares the latest topics for visitors. Here, the main focus is on the right way to secure loads, the consequences of insufficiently secured loads and questions relating to respon- sibility. At the NUFAM theme area Skilled Trades Live, the Vehicle Academy of the Lower Franconia Chamber of Trades offers a pro- gramme that is geared towards those who work in commercial vehicle workshops. At four differ- ent stations at Stand E219 in Hall 2, highly qualified master trades- people and trainers give live in- struction to master students on state-of-the-art techniques and answer questions on them. On the programme is the commercial vehicle wheel alignment equip- ment for heavy vehicles, the EBS parameterisation on the trailer model, the safety check on com- mercial vehicles and troubleshoot- ing in the fuel injection system on the stationary engine. Light commercial vehicles such as pickups and vans are ideally suit- ed for skilled tradespeople and their businesses. These are repre- sented on site by the manufactur- ers or leading regional dealers. A manufacturer-independent por- tal, which allows light commercial vehicle conversions and modifica- tions to be configured at compet- itive prices, will be presenting its range of services on a joint stand (Hall 1, Stand C109). Superstructure manufacturers – manufacturers of high-quality chassis and suspension compo- nents for trailers and light com- mercial vehicles as well as special- ists in manufacturing lightweight box bodies – come together to show the wide range of possibili- ties in the area of conversions and modifications. Salvage, towing and transport superstructures and sustainable transport solu- tions are represented, too. Individual needs With the range of vehicle equip- ment available from specialist providers, trade businesses can fit out their commercial vehicles to suit their individual needs. As well as this, the products make things easier for tradespeople in their everyday work. An exhibi- tor plans, produces and installs individual vehicle equipment, in- cluding floor panels, interior trim, shelving systems and hose hold- ers. The different fittings options help to keep order in the vehicle interior and ensure that tools and accessories can be located imme- diately wherever they are needed.
