••• 10••• Messewelten Future factory solutions Smart Industry Solutions India on 13-15 December With “Smart Industry Solutions In- dia”, Messe Frankfurt launches a new exhibition format in Mumbai. Taking place on 13–15 December 2017, the fair is targeting end-to- end solutions that will address the needs of smart manufacturing. Smart Industry Solutions India will cover future factory, auto- mation systems, technology and solutions, as well as hydraulics & pneumatics. While Smart Indus- try Solutions India will cover the realm of Industry 4.0, where fu- turistic innovations in engineer- ing are expected to change the shop floor, SPS Automation In- dia, Motek India and Control India fairs will be presented in a new avatar to cover automation sys- tems, technology and solutions under this umbrella. India is seeking technology part- ners to accelerate domestic man- ufacturing and improve their tech- nology infrastructure. With the governmen’s impetus on develop- ing industrial corridors and smart cities along with rolling out major programmes such as “Make in In- dia”, “Digital India” etc, there is a sharp innovation and technology led movement in the country. The trade fair, also comprising a conference, will cover a diverse mix of subjects, services and solu- tions in order to meet India’s de- mand as one of the fastest grow- ing markets for automation smart manufacturing solutions in the world. The organiser also believes that the new format will redefine the existing technology fairs – SPS Automation India, Motek In- dia and Control India and benefit the exhibitors by bringing a larger and more targeted participation from diverse visitor segments. Recognising this vision, Smart In- dustry Solutions India has drawn immense support from the game- changers in the industry who can bring these technologies to the fore as well as attract the right segment of trade professionals and decision makers. KG Roboter-Boom und Digitalisierung Motek wirft Schlaglicht auf Industrie 4.0: „Arena of Integration“ im Rahmenprogramm D as stetige Wachstum an Roboter-Syste- men und vor allem an robotergestütz- ten Anwendungen und Automatisierung- lösungen spiegelt sich auch auf der Motek wider. Der verstärkte Einsatz von Robotik in Produktion, Montage und Service sowie allen peripheren Bereichen stützt auch die fortschreitende Digitalisierung der Produk- tion in Richtung Industrie 4.0. Zur 36. Mo- tek werden Fachbesucher aus mehr als 100 Nationen erwartet. Neben neuester Hard- ware wird auf der Messe auch ein „hoch- karätiges Rahmenprogramm“ präsentiert, heißt es bei den Veranstaltern. Dazu gehört unter anderem die „Arena of Integration 2017“, in der anhand eines per- sonalisierten Produkts die Integrationsfä- higkeit unterschiedlicher Kernkompeten- zen einer Wertschöpfungskette realisiert wird. Beteiligt sind hier 18 Unternehmen, die sich von der Prozess- und Anlagensteu- erung über das Daten-Management und Edge-Cloud-Lösungen mit allen Industrie- 4.0-relevanten Aspekten beschäftigen. Ein weiteres Highlight auf der Motek ist das Fachforum „Sicherheit + Automation“. In sechs Einzelvorträgen befasst sich das Fach- forum in diesem Jahr mit den komplexen Themen „Umsetzung von Betriebssicher- heitsverordnung und CE-Prozess“ sowie „Sichere Mensch-Roboter-Kollaboration“. Darüber hinaus engagiert sich der Verein Deutscher Ingenieure e. V. (VDI) mit dem „VDI-Forum: Digitalisierung in der Produk- tion“ und will damit einen Beitrag zu mehr Verständnis und mehr Akzeptanz sowie vor allem den Nutzungsmöglichkeiten der digi- talisierten Produktion in kleinen und mittel- ständischen Unternehmen (KMU) leisten.
