Modern warehouse accumulates significant financial resources in the inventory and staff, so it is important to reduce the storage costs by optimising processes. He took over responsibility of the EPAL General Secretariat last October. “Christian Kühn- hold has in-depth knowledge of the pallet market and managing open pools at an in- ternational level,” emphasises Robert Hol- liger, President of the European Pallet As- sociation (EPAL) e. V. The aim is to further strengthen the Euro pallet under the EPAL brand, to push ahead with expansion into new markets and to establish more prod- ucts. A very important project at the mo- ment is iPAL, in collaboration with the Fraunhofer IML, the Euro pallet will be equipped with intelligence, on which new business models will be based.
