LASER 2017
•••8••• Messewelten Stellenmarkt New insights in 3D printing Première for B2B oriented event at Laser World of Photonics India In a new launch, Messe München India will link up in 2017 with CNT Expositions and Ser- vices LLP to bring new insights in additive manufacturing technology to India’s manu- facturing industry. At Laser World of Pho- tonics India, they will jointly organize the B2B oriented event “Additive Manufactur- ing Insight” (AMI), an international confer- ence and pavilion on additive manufactur- ing technology where attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding of the state- of-the-art in 3D printing and the latest tech- nological advances in 3D printers and their application for the Indian market. The trade fair alternates between Bengaluru and New Delhi each year. Taking place from Septem- ber 14–16, 2017 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, Laser World of Photonics India will welcome technology providers from across the globe, who will showcase their products and solutions tailored for the Indian market. Participants can also benefit from various co-located and free to attend knowledge- rich conferences, such as “AMI”. Young and innovative New ideas at Start-Up World in Hall B3 Numerous domestic and foreign companies will be represented at Start-Up World in Hall B3. To this end a bespoke starter pack- age has been put together for start-ups no more than five years of age. This enables the newcomers to take part in the world’s leading trade fair for photonics compo- nents, systems and applications at greatly reduced organizational and resource effort and expense, and showcase their ideas to an international trade public. The Photonics Award finals will be held for the second time since 2015 under the Start- Up World umbrella. Teams of company founders from home and abroad will pitch their latest products and close-to-market prototypes to a jury of experts. Whether under the “Internet of Things” or “Photon- ics 4.0” label – digital networking is one of the core innovation drivers in the photon- ics industry. Photonics is both enabler and user. The need for photonics personnel will continue to grow with the onward march of Industry 4.0. Laser World of Photonics affords an optimal opportunity with the 24-hour Make Light MAKEATHON on June 27 and 28 to get to know photonics talent and the digitally savvy movers and shak- ers of tomorrow. This competition, staged in collaboration with the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research’s Make- Light-Initiative sees students and young en- gineers competing to create prototypes from ideas. Photonics talents find a huge plat- form at Laser World of Photonics to promote themselves.
