••• 16••• Messewelten New event for Industry 4.0 in North America Digital Industry USA: trade fair debut from 11 to 12 September 2019 in Louisville, Kentucky B eginning in 2019, Deutsche Messe will stage the biennial Digital Industry USA, an event for Industry 4.0 and the Industrial In- ternet of Things that covers eve- rything from proof of concept for factories to completely net- worked operations. The Kentucky International Con- vention Center in Louisville, Ken- tucky, will host the event. Lou- isville is located at the center of an industrial region from which three quarters of America’s pro- duction capacity can be reached within three hours. “Digital In- dustry USA is the only event in North America that focuses ex- clusively on the deployment of In- dustrie 4.0 technologies and the Industrial Internet of Things,” said Dr. Jochen Köckler, CEO of Deutsche Messe. “It enhances Hannover Messe USA , which we stage in even years, so that we now provide our customers with an additional Industrie 4.0 plat- form in North America for busi- ness and knowledge exchange.” Digital Industry USA consists of an exhibition, conference and education programe and fea- tures interactive demonstra- tions, workshops, training ses- sions, areas for start-ups and virtual reality, and a hackathon. In addition, there are tours of a distillery, a plant and a distribu- tion center. An executive confer- ence on 10 September serves as kick-off. Digital Industry USA represents the digital transformation of in- dustry. Core topics include ad- ditive manufacturing, artificial intelligence, automation, cyber security, data analytics, integrat- ed industry, Logistics 4.0, pro- duction efficiency, and robotics. Digital Industry USA serves user industries such as aerospace, au- tomotive, assembly and packag- ing, energy including oil and gas, food and beverage, logistics, laboratory equipment for scien- tific applications, and mechani- cal and electrical engineering. An exhibitor advisory commit- tee teers the development of Digital Industry USA. “Creating a trade show and educational conference that is focused more intently on the increasing needs of IIoT and Industry 4.0 is so cru- cial,” said industry expert Brian Pitzer. Photo: Deutsche Messe AG Hydrogen + Fuel Cells Europe rollout for 2019 CeMAT Asia Hydrogen + Fuel Cells Eu- rope is one of the biggest exhibitions at Hannover Messe’s Integrated Ener- gy show, featuring some 150 exhibitors every year. The exhibition format was ‘exported’ to the USA last year, premiering as Hydrogen + Fuel Cells North America at the SPI (Solar Power Internation- al) show, and is now be- ing expanded and rolled out to CeMAT ASIA for the 2019 season. Staged by Deutsche Messe every fall in Shanghai, CeMAT ASIA is the Asia region’s leading trade show for intral- ogistics technology. On 23 to 26 October in Shanghai, more than 600 com- panies will use the show to present their high-tech so- lutions for the Asian logistics market – a market that is coming under growing pressure as high levels of ur- ban pollution drive up demand for low-emission com- mercial vehicles. Fuel cells are an eco-friendly drive technology that can help meet this demand, particu- larly in the trucks segment. In vielen Branchen kommt es bei der Druckluft auf höchstmögliche Rein- heit an, um einer Kontamination des Produktes zum Beispiel durch Rest- öldampf vorzubeugen.
