•••8••• Messewelten A glance at the trade fair Shanghai World of Packaging (swop) Photo: Messe Düsseldorf / ctillmann swop 2019 is growing and expanding Premiere of special topics on e-commerce logistics and packaging printing S hanghai World of Packaging (swop), hosted every two years by Messe Düs- seldorf (Shanghai) Co. Ltd and Adsale Exhi- bition Service Ltd, is developing rapidly. The next edition will take place from 25 to 28 November 2019 at the Shanghai New Inter- national Expo Centre. Visitors can expect around 20 per cent more exhibition space in now five halls and a supporting programme with a wide scope that has been expanded considerably. swop addresses the eight key target groups: foods, beverages, confec- tionery, bakery, pharmaceuticals, cosmet- ics and daily care products, non-food and industrial goods. The trade fair thus offers a platform for manufacturers of machines and materials in the packaging industry and the related processing industry. After the successful Chinese premiere of SAVE FOOD during swop 2017, this segment will once again focus extensively on solu- tions that contribute to curbing food waste and loss in 2019. A conference and a special presentation will take place in cooperation with FAO in Hall N2 and will illuminate ap- proaches along the entire value chain, from the field to the plate. The special topic “FM- CG Future Zone”, very well received in 2017, will once again present trends around the most diverse materials, technologies and designs in the segments food, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, spread out across around 12,000 sqm. In Hall N4, “components” was inspired by the trade fair of the same name in Düssel- dorf, which has taken place parallel to inter- pack since 2014. Exhibits from the fields of drive, control unit and sensor technology await visitors, along with software, ma- chine components as well as complete au- tomation systems and integrated automa- tion solutions. This makes this exhibition attractive for companies that offer packag- ing and process technologies to customers in the eight key target groups from food to industrial goods. Last, but not least, there will be a premiere with a a special presenta- tion on e-commerce logistics and packaging as well as packaging printing. November 2019 fin- det erneut die InPrint Munich auf dem Münchner Messegelände statt. Die Fachmesse ist die zent- rale Plattform für Hersteller und Anbieter von Drucktechnologie zur Anwendung in der industriel- len Fertigung. Führende internati- onale Unternehmen präsentieren dort hoch entwickelte Technologi- en und innovative Lösungen für das Bedrucken unterschiedlichs- ter Materialien und Oberflächen. Die Nachfrage nach individuell gestalteten Produkten, Limited Editions und personalisiertem Design steigt weiter an. Innova- tive Druckverfahren wie Digital- druck, Inkjet, Siebdruck und Spezialdruck eröffnen sowohl Fertigungsunternehmen aus ei- ner Vielzahl unterschiedlicher Branchen sowie der Druckindus- trie ganz neue Geschäftsmöglich- keiten. Denn sie ermöglichen das direkte Bedrucken von flachen, gewölbten oder zylindrischen Materialien und Oberflächen aus Kunststoff, Holz, Folie, Textil, Glas, Keramik und Metall auf eine kosteneffiziente Weise. Der Ein- satz dieser innovativen Druckver- fahren reicht vom Funktionsdruck für Automobilkomponenten, ge- druckter Elektronik, Verpackun- gen, Bekleidung und Konsum- güterherstellung bis hin zur dekorativen Oberflächenverede- lung von Böden und Mobiliar. „Die InPrint Munich hat sich über die vergangenen Jahre zur inter- national zentralen Fachmesse im Segment des Drucks zur Anwen- dung in der industriellen Ferti- gung entwickelt. Die Messe steht für den Austausch von zukunfts- weisenden Ideen, für die gemein- same Entwicklung von konkreten Lösungen, für wertvolle Partner- schaften und vor allem für neue Geschäftsmöglichkeiten“, erklärt Nicola Hamann, Geschäftsführe- rin des Messeveranstalters Mack Brooks Exhibitions.
