••• 19••• Messewelten Open for registration Schweißen & Schneiden 2021 at Messe Essen I t’s still some time away, but many exhibi- tors are already taking the opportunity to secure their stand space for the next Schweißen & Schneiden trade fair. From 13 to 17 September 2021, this leading event showcasing joining, cutting and surfacing technologies will take place at Messe Essen. Interested companies find the registration documents on www.schweissen-schneiden. com – registration deadline is 30 April 2020. “We are very pleased that a great many companies have already registered for the next fair. It tells us that we have once again hit bull’s eye with our programme,” said Christina Kleinpaß, Project Leader at Messe Essen for Schweißen & Schneiden. Serhan Senyurt, Managing Director of a Turkish company, which is taking part for the first time, is also excited about the sequence of events and the programme: “As we pri- marily focus on fibre laser cutting technolo- gies, and our laser sources are also used for welding technologies, it’s as if Messe Essen had planned the trade fair with us in mind.” At Schweißen & Schneiden, companies pre- sent their products and services involving the latest joining, cutting and surfacing technologies. Every four years, the event takes the top spot as the international in- dustry meeting point. John Schneider, Managing Director of another company, sums it up: “We have been taking part in Schweißen & Schneiden for 40 years now. As we operate on an international level, this event – as a leading global trade fair – is simply unmissable for us.” Around 50,000 visitors from more than 120 countries, as well as more than 1,000 exhibitors took part in the last Schweißen & Schneiden trade fair in 2017. The event was also very successful for a Portuguese welding equip- ment manufacturer, the first exhibitor to sign up for 2021. Company leader Joao Fran- cisco Matos: “We value the direct contact and the opportunity to tap into new mar- kets and segments. Based on the positive experience we had at the last event, we’ve booked a stand of twice the size for the next one. We’re already looking forward to presenting our new products and services to the customers and to the world.” Not only can participants look forward to top-class exhibitors, they can also an- ticipate the reworked themed hall layout which provides more structure and im- proved orientation. Following the moderni- sation of Messe Essen, exhibitors and visi- tors can expect light-flooded, single-storey halls with first-class service facilities. 50,000 visitors attended Schweißen & Schneiden 2017.
