••• 11 ••• Messewelten Drinktec cluster and fairtrade to cooperate Both partners aim to expand and strengthen their individual events by combining the know-how M esse München’s Drinktec cluster and the German trade fair organizer fairtrade signed a marketing coopera- tion. The aims: a broader range of products and services to offer exhibitors and visitors and more targeted acquisition of market participants. Messe München’s Drinktec cluster includes inter- national subsidiary trade shows in South Africa, India and China, and fairtrade organizes specialist trade fairs in Ethiopia, Ghana, Ni- geria and Iran. The two coopera- tion partners aim to mutually sup- port their respective trade fairs through corresponding market- ing and sales activities. With their combined expertise in beverage, food and packaging technology, the intention is to expand and strengthen the individual events of both partners. The agreement draws together the offer of the individual exhibi- tion platforms, which represent the entire process chain of the food, beverage and packaging in- dustry. The following events are held this year: Drinktec in Munich (11-15 September); agrofood West Africa in Accra (5-7 December); drink technology India in Mumbai (24-26 October) and – in May 2018 – the iran food+bev tec in Tehran. Oils+Fats parallel zur Drinktec Fachmesse zeigt neueste Technologien für Öl- und Fettindustrie Parallel zur Drinktec findet vom 11. bis 15. September 2017 in München die oils+fats statt, Europas einzige Fachmesse für die Herstellung und Weiterverarbeitung von pflanzlichen und tierischen Ölen und Fet- ten. In einem Teil der Halle C1 präsentieren international führende Aussteller Systeme, Anlagen und Komponenten. Weitere wichtige Themen sind die Bereiche Roh- und Hilfsstoffe sowie Lösungen zur Prozess- und Qualitätskontrolle. Übrigens: Alle Besucher der oils+fats haben mit ihrer Eintrittskarte auch Zugang zur Drinktec 2017, Weltleitmesse für die Getränke- und Liquid-Food-Industrie, sowie zur ebenfalls in die drinktec integrierten Weintechnolo- giemesse SIMEI – und umgekehrt. Geträn- ke- und Liquid-Food-Produzenten nutzen häufig ähnliche Technologien und Verpa- ckungen, wie sie auch in der Öl- und Fettin- dustrie zum Einsatz kommen.
