•••9••• Messewelten Legendary route 66 US east-west artery is California RV Show’s theme T he West Coast’s largest con- sumer recreational vehicle (RV) show, the California RV Show, is set to roar back to the LA Fairplex in Pomona, October 5-14, 2018. The event showcases thousands of RVs from all the ma- jor manufacturers at one time, all under one roof. This year, the theme of the show is legendary Route 66. Established in 1926, Route 66 quickly became the nation’s main east-west artery as a 2,400-mile highway running from Chicago to Santa Monica. The Fairplex is working closely with the RV Indus- try Association and has added 30 per cent more parking spaces to accommodate attendees, assur- ing them a great experience. In addition, for the 15th year, a com- pany is providing a new trailer for the raffle drawing. “Taking part in the RV lifestyle is an opportunity to connect family, friends and the outdoors,” said Liz Crawford, RV Industry Association Senior Vice President and organizer of the show. “The 2018 California RV Show is slated to be our best yet and we can’t wait to show off all that the lifestyle has to offer to the greater Southern California market.” Nearly onemillion square feet of space Consumers will be able to pur- chase their next RV right at the show, test drive it and take it home. In addition, the show deliv- ers educational seminars, celebri- ty appearances, musical acts and more, filling nearly one million square feet of space. Attendance at the popular family-friendly show, produced by the RV Indus- try Association, has grown stead- ily over the past seven years. In keeping with the growth and pop- ularity of the RV lifestyle, dealers from all over California will be bringing all the newest and most innovative models and brands for visitors to check out.
