•••4••• Messewelten New catering concept at the Caravan Center Europe’s largest caravan site offers 3,500 serviced and non-serviced pitches in Düsseldorf “We are responding to the re- quests and improvement sugges- tions of our guests,” says Stefan Koschke, Director of the Caravan Salon. “The overall presentation and design of the tents is being updated, and the quality of the food and drinks offered is im- proved. All in all, it will be more beautiful, modern, and stylish.” Meeting point When the trade fair closes its doors, the Caravan Center is the caravanning community’s meet- ing point bringing together exhib- itors, visitors, journalists and all other fans of mobile vacationing. A large marquee offering a musi- cal line-up in the evenings makes for fun, entertainment and cosy togetherness. Those wishing to explore Düssel- dorf’s famous Old Town after a long day at the trade fair can also take advantage of a special ser- vice: a free shuttlebus will take visitors in comfort into the Old Town and back again to the Car- avan Center in the evening. The Caravan Center is open through- out the day until the evening from 7.30 am to 10 pm. Both Düsseldorf Exhibition Cen- tre and the Caravan Center are located outside Düsseldorf’s en- vironmental zone. When arriv- ing at Caravan Salon Düsseldorf via the motorway A44 no emis- sions sticker is therefore neces- sary. Those wishing to travel to the event quickly and easily using their sat nav should enter “Am Staad, 40474 Düsseldorf” into the address field. The Caravan Center is right by motorway A44, exit 29 “Düsseldorf-Messe/Arena”. Registered vehicles The Caravan Center is reserved solely for registered vehicles. For vehicles without permanent registration (for instance those with export, dealer or temporary plates) three alternative parking lots are available, two of which are near the exhibition centre: Campingplatz Lörick, Niederkas- seler Deich 305; Campingplatz “Rheincamping Meerbusch”, Zur Rheinfähre 21, Meerbusch-Langst; and Campingplatz Unterbacher See Nord, Rothenbergstraße. The Caravan Center, the caravan site at car park P1 of the exhibition centre, is popular with all cara- vanning fans wanting to spend the night in their own motorhome or caravan when visiting Caravan Salon Düsseldorf (25 August to 2 September 2018). For this purpose a total of over 3,500 serviced and non-serviced pitches will be avail- able. In diesem Jahr wird die Messe rund um Reiseziele und Ausrüstung für Outdoor-Aktive vom 31. August bis 2. September ihre Tore in der Halle 6 des Düsseldorfer Messegelän- des öffnen. Erstmals wird 2018 das Outdoor-Paradies Kanada mit einem eigenen Stand im Angebot der TourNatur sein. Hier gibt es Informationen zu abenteuerlichen Tou- ren entlang reißender Flüsse, tiefblauer Bergseen oder in die Gletscherwelt des Nationalparks in British Columbia. Beliebt wegen ihrer zauberhaften Wander- touren zwischen Berg und Meer sind auch Griechen- land, Portugal, die Balearen und die Kanaren, die sich auf der TourNatur mit großen Präsentationen ihrem Publikum vorstellen werden. Zum Mitmachen lädt auf der TourNatur ein Bike-Parcour mitten in der Hal- le 6 ein. Dort können verschiedenste E-Bikes direkt vor Ort getestet werden. Action pur zeigt der sechs- fache Deutsche Meister im Trial Mountainbiken, Han- nes Herrmann. Drei Mal täglich auf der TourNatur 2018 wird er seine atemberaubende, rasante Show präsentieren und spektakuläre Bike-Sprünge wa- gen.
